If your device can’t text (tablet/tracker), see the IMEI option below.
Send a text message with 3G to 550. You’ll receive an automated reply with guidance.
If you can’t text from the device (e.g., tablet, smartwatch, tracker) or want extra confirmation, you can check compatibility using an IMEI/device checker from the relevant provider.
Find your IMEI by dialling *#06# (most phones), then use the checker.
The best fix is to move to a 4G-capable device that supports 4G calling (VoLTE). Also check any SIM-based devices like alarms, medical devices, vehicle units, and trackers.
