Turn on Wi-Fi Calling

Make sure your device software is up to date and you’re connected to a trusted Wi-Fi network.

iPhone

    Open SettingsPhone.

    Tap Wi-Fi Calling.
  3. 3
    Enable Wi-Fi Calling on This iPhone.
  4. 4
    Follow any on-screen prompts, then connect to Wi-Fi.
Tip: You’ll see “Wi-Fi” or a similar indicator next to your carrier name when active.
Android (paths vary by brand)

    Open SettingsNetwork & Internet (or Connections).

    Tap Mobile network (or SIMs).

    Enable Wi-Fi Calling.

    Connect to Wi-Fi. You may see a phone+Wi-Fi icon when active.
Names differ on Samsung, Google Pixel, Oppo, etc. If you can’t find it, use Settings search for “Wi-Fi Calling”.

Frequently asked questions

There’s no special surcharge from us for using Wi-Fi Calling. In most cases, calls and texts count towards your plan’s normal allowances. If you’re overseas or calling international numbers, standard roaming or international rates may still apply.

Emergency services can be reached from supported devices. If you’re on Wi-Fi only, network location may be limited, so be ready to clearly state your exact address. Where possible, place emergency calls over the mobile network for the most accurate location information.

Check your phone software is up to date and your device/carrier settings support Wi-Fi Calling on our network. Some models or third-party sourced devices may not expose the toggle. If you’re unsure, contact us with your model number and software version.

Yes, if your device supports it and local networks or policies don’t restrict it. Usage is billed per your plan and destination—international or roaming charges may apply. We recommend testing Wi-Fi Calling before you travel.
